Mess


Mess-up Bus Scheduled Make a Very Long Wait at Changloon Town until 12 Midnight
This is my very bad experience happened last month. I was left by bus to Shah Alam while waiting in front of the 7-Stars Mamak Restaurant. Luckily, the restaurant open 24 hour a day and accompanied by a friend. It worried me because Changloon is very near to boundary and bad things may happen to me and my friend….. in addition, there were no more cab to go home.




To keep it short, the story begins like this……



I am a loyal customer of a bus company for the last 5 months as I am travelling every week; Shah Alam – Changloon, Changloon – Shah Alam. I used to take night journey and the travelling time will be at 10.30 p.m to and fro. As usual the ticket will be printed 10.30 p.m. However, on 23rd of November 2010,  I bought  ticket to and fro Shah Alam – Changloon for 25th of December 2010 and Changloon – Shah Alam for 29th December 2010. I felt weird when the ticket from Changloon printed 11.30 p.m from the destination. As it was unusual, I asked the ticket counter staff to check. However, she refused and informed the scheduled is always changing. I left the counter eventhough feeling uncomfortable and wondering why???



On the day of travelling, I made a phone call to the Customer Service number to confirm on the time of travelling. The person confirmed the travelling time just like printed in the ticket. My friend and I ended up enjoying the ‘char kuey teow kerang’ Pak Din’s stall behind the 7-Stars Mamak Restaurant.



At 11.15 p.m, we went out to the Changloon roadside to wait for the bus. Unfortunately, the awaited bus still not appeared until 11.45 p.m. I called the bus company’s customer service number more than 10 times, but they didn’t answer the call. Then, I tried the customer complaint number several times. The 7th call only they answered. The person said to rectify the problem and promised to call me back. Both of us were shocked when informed that the bus was already passed by and the bus had waited at Changloon town at usual time, 10.30 p.m. Only Allah knows how disappointed I am at that time. If I was too naïve or ‘lurus bendul’ I can accept the situation. But, I have already kept on asking to confirm….. Who to be blame??? I should be arrived to Shah Alam at 7.00 a.m and got to attend a meeting, and need to take care of the children at home…. The tragedy ruined our scheduled. My husband had to send children to my mother’s house and came back to Shah Alam that dawn for work.

I feel very sorry to the founder of the company… Because the irresponsible behavior of these staff, customer will distrust the company and jump into the other bus company…
